UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal reiterated that consensus among major parties on contents of the constitution and process to endorse it is a must to move forward.

Organizing a press conference in the Capital on Monday, the Maoist leader said his party and the alliance led by it stress on forwarding the constitution writing process on the basis of consensus reports THT online.

The UCPN-Maoist-led opposition alliance had organized a press conference after the talks among top leaders of four major political forces failed to evolve consensus on disputed issues of the constitution.

Though the party leaders had claimed that they were inching toward consensus on Sunday, the meeting held from Monday morning had ended inconclusively.
