India Embassy and B.P. Koirala India-Nepal Foundation organized 24th edition of Poemandu on January 21, 2015 at Nepal-Bharat Library in Nepal Airlines Building, New Road.

Eminent Nepalese poet, Krishna Murari Gautam, more popularly known as Chatyaang Master chaired this edition of Poemandu.

He shared, “First of all I congratulate the organizers for celebrating the second anniversary of Poemandu. Creativity is something that needs consistency. In addition, when it comes to literature it needs both – consistency and a platform. I on behalf of all the poets here would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Indian Embassy and B.P. Koirala India-Nepal Foundation for consistently organizing this event every month for the last two years. I am sure that this encouraging initiative will continue for many more years to come.”

Chatyaang Master also recited his poems, full of parodies.

Other eminent and promising poets who recited on the occasion were Ram Bahadur Pahar, Nirmal Kumar Rimal, Arkhana Khatoon, Dr. Ganga Prasad Akela, Pramod Snehi, Rama Adhikari, Sumi Lohani, Uday Chandra Das, Urmila Pant Pandey, Ram Bahadur Bogati, Saurav Bashyal, Sunita Nakarmi, Bishnu Pokharel and Dinesh Bhandari.

They recited their poems in various languages such as Nepali, Hindi, Newari, Maithili and English.
