An earthquake hit western Nepal at 7:44 pm on Saturday evening sending people out of home for safety.
According to the National Seismological Center, the quake measured 5.5 on the Richter scale. European Mediterranean Seismological Center stated that the epicenter was located 10 kilometers NE of Pokhara in Kaski district.
Tremors were felt in adjoining districts too. No casualty or damage has been reported yet.
