Kumari Bank Limited has initiated a scholarship program for 'living goddess Kumari' of Kathmandu on the occasion of its 14th anniversary, in order to give continuity to her further education. The amount of NPR 50,000.00 will be deposited every year in her saving account and upon her retirement, a lump sum amount will be granted to her for education purpose.

According to a press release issued by Sipa Regmi Head- Marketing & Corporate Communication , a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between 'Kumari Bank' and 'Kumari Ghar' for the scholarship program. Kumari Bank has been carrying out various CSR activities in sectors like education, health and environment in the past too.
