A delegation led by President of Confederation of Nepalese Industries called on Finance Minister Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat, vice chairman of the National Planning Commission Dr.Govinda Raj Pokharel, NRB Governor Dr. Chiranjeevi Nepal and Chairman of Beema Samiti Dr.bFateh Bahadur KC.

During the meeting finance minister Dr.Ram Sharan Mahat said the government is expecting active support from private sector during the phase of reconstruction.  “This is a time to provide relief for victims and we are expecting support from private sector,” said finance minister Dr. Mahat. He also said that the government is studying the impact of earthquake in big, small and medium scale industries. Finance minister Dr. Mahat also hailed the role played by private sector to provide relief.

President of CNI Narendra Kumar Basnyat said that CNI is ready to work with the government to provide relief materials.
