NIC ASIA Bank has provided NPR. 25,51,000/- (In words Rs. Twenty Five Lakh and Fifty One Thousand) to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation of earthquake victims. Jagdish Prasad Agrawal- Chairman NIC ASIA Bank, handed over the cheque to the Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at Baluwatar on 2nd June 2015.

NIC ASIA foundation, a charity wing of NIC ASIA Bank has also set aside about Rs. 1 million for relief work of which the bulk of the amount has already been spent on providing relief materials to 525 families in different districts affected by the recent earthquake. NIC ASIA Foundation, in coordination with the staff of NIC ASIA Bank, has been conducting social activities, such as: Hygiene and Sanitation Awareness Program in earthquake affected area within Kathmandu valley and its surrounding areas.

According to a press release issued by NIC-Asia, the Bank has shown deep concern over the massive devastation caused by the recent natural disaster and extends its heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives and also wishes for the speedy recovery of all injured citizens.
