Ambassador Darja Bavdaž – Kuret, Embassy of Slovenia, has visited Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI). Senior CNI officials and ambassador Kuret discussed the possibility to find out ways to enhance the cooperation between two countries.
According to a press release issued by CNI, President Narendra Kumar Basnyat lead the Nepalese sides. During the discussion, president Basnyat requested Slovenian ambassador to increase foreign direct investment in Nepal.
“Following the massive earthquake, Nepal is now on the way to reconstruction phase and Slovenia’s febrick house will likely to be more useful for Nepal,” said president Basnyat.
Responding to CNI’s call, ambassador of Slovenia Kuret said that her government is ready to work with Nepal in several sectors. “Slovenia is ready to work in promotion of tourism in Nepal,” said Kuret. “ There are a lot of areas particularly in agriculture, tourism and alternative energy where Slovenia’s business community can invest.”
