India Embassy has signed a new outsourcing contract for its visa services with Nepal State Bank Ltd. The new contract, which envisages better customer services to the clientele, would be rolled out from 2nd September 2015 and would offer visa processing services from its office located near the Embassy. 

According to Indian Embassy, while there will be no change in the visa application fee, Nepal State Bank Ltd. will be charging NR 500/- (Nepali Rupees Five Hundred only) for the processing of every visa application under the new contract.
