At a time when president Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has announced promulgation of new constitution, one agitator was killed and two injured in Birgunj, district headquarters of Parsa District.

The incident broke out when a group of agitators of Madheshi Front tried to break the curfew order imposed in the city. In a police firing two other agitators also injured by the bullet.

As followers of Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and UCPN-Maoists caders were celebrating promulgation of constitution as a victory day in Capital Kathmandu and other hill districts, mass agitation continues in terai and plain districts.

Although leaders of big three called concerned parties for negotiations to settle the issue, there is yet to see any sign of immediate resolution of conflict. The leaders of three parties
