President Ram Baran Yadav has announced promulgation of new constitution amidst a special ceremony at the Constituent Assembly (CA) hall on Saturday evening. Before announcing the enactment of the much-awaited constitution, the head of the state signed five copies of the constitution.

Addressing the CA, president Dr. Yadav said that there are enough room to accommodate the views of divergent group of Nepal. The constitution of Nepal 2072 is the seventh constitutions promulgates in Nepal over last 65 years.
