Deputy prime minister and Minister for Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa held a bilateral meeting with Minister of External Affairs of India, Sushma Swaraj at Hyderabad House in New Delhi this afternoon.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters of mutual interest. They discussed about easing of obstruction on movement of cargo vehicles to Nepal. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Thapa requested for the Government of India’s assistance in facilitating the movement of cargo traffic at Nepal-India border points.
The Deputy Prime Minister also had a meeting with the Minister of Home Affairs of India, Rajnath Singh this afternoon. Matters pertaining to bilateral relations and cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
According to a press release issued by Nepalese Embassy New Delhi, the National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, called on the Deputy Prime Minister this evening . Earlier today, Foreign Secretary of India S. Jaishankar called on the Deputy Prime Minister.
