Chief of Army Staff General Rajendra Chhetri and U.S. Ambassador to Nepal Aliana B. Taplitz jointly inspected a month long Balance Nail training between Nepal Army and US Army at Army Training Center Nagarkot.
According to a press release issued by Directorate of Public Relations Nepal Army, COAS Chhetri and ambassador Taplitz also inspected the training demonstration and other activities jointly performed by Nepal Army and the US Army.
COAS Chhetri and ambassador Taplitz also planted tree inside the training area as a gesture of friendship between the two countries.
This one month training includes Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Long Range Marksmanship, Breaching, Combat Marksmanship (CMMS), CQB, Demolition and Combined Culmination Exercise.
According to Nepal Army, this kind of training will help to enhance the capacity and capability of both the army and to strengthen the bilateral relations.
