According to a press release issued by Japanese Embassy, Japan is deeply concerned that the present shortage of essential materials, especially fuel and petroleum products is increasingly impacting on the daily lives of all the people living in Nepal. “The fuel shortage is also preventing post-earthquake relief community including the international organizations and NGOs from effectively conducting their humanitarian activities towards the affected areas,” said a press release on the current situation in Nepal.

“We sincerely hope that the current difficult situation in Nepal to be resolved peacefully and in a way to foster cooperation, as well as mutual trust and understanding among all the parties concerned.
