Five Nepalese students receive full Korean Government Scholarship for the year 2016.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kathmandu has selected five students (three for postgraduate course and two for undergraduate program) under the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) for the year 2016 and the selected students are delightfully waiting to begin their new academic career in Korea.
According to a press release issued by Embassy of Korea, around 45 Nepalese students have already availed the opportunity to pursue higher education in Korea under the KGSP. They were selected on the basis of strong academic credentials and their commitment to contribute to the development of their society and country.
The objective of the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) is to generate mutual understanding between Korea and all friendly countries around the world by facilitating educational exchanges and human resource mobility.
Several KGSP recipients have returned back to Nepal and successfully established themselves in prominent careers in many prestigious organizations and institutes such as the Tribhuvan University and Kathmandu University etc.
In this regard, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kathmandu is organizing the KGSP alumni gathering on the 10th of December at Radisson Hotel, Kathmandu in order to provide opportunity to them for maintaining networking and sharing of information among each other.
