As the government just launched a nationwide earthquake reconstruction campaign, Chaudhary Foundation, a philanthropic organization under Chaudhary Group, has completed the construction of 1700 shelters and 30 schools in post earthquake region.
To give details of its campaign, Chaudhary Foundation organized a press meet recently with the theme “Rebuilding Nepal: Post-Disaster Rehabilitation Initiative” to share details of the progress on post-earthquake rehabilitation efforts so far.
“With support from benevolent donors as well as through the Foundation’s own resources, we have so far completed building 1700 shelters and 30 schools for the earthquake-affected communities,” said Binod Kumar Chaudhary, president of the Foundation.
Addressing the press meet, young industrialist Nirvan Chaudhary said that his organization will build more buildings in the coming days, to go hand in hand with the government campaign.
