Nepal Army and US Army jointly launched the joint training Balance Nail 16-02.The training was jointly participated by Ranger of Mahabir Battalion and American Army’s ODA 1322 B Company third Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group Airborne.
One month joint training will be conducted in Mahabir Batallion’s Chauni, Training Center Nagarkot and Nagarjun Rock Climbing Areas. The training include Human Rights and Law of War, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCC), Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), Defensive Combat Marksmanship (CMMS), High and Low Angle Rescue Techniques, Military Crisis Action Planning, (HA/DR MDMP), Humanitarian and Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT), Fast Rope Insertion Extraction System (FRIES) andField Training Exercise (FTX). Nepalsese Army and Special Forces of United States have been taking part in this kind of traning for a long time.
US Army’s military team arrived on January 18 with all necessary traning equipmentts. According to a press release issued byDirectorate of Public Relations Nepal Army, this kinds of training help to enhance the efficency of Npeal Army.
