The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has donated 70 clean auto rickshaws to Lumbini Development Trust. The inauguration ceremony of the event was held in Lumbini.

State Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and chairman of Lumbini Development Trust Bal Bahadur Mahat and country director of KOICA Hyung Kyoo Kim and other officials of LDT and KOICA were present on the occasion.

With the aim of creating local employment and improving local transport system within the area, KOICA provided 70 clean auto rickshaws to LDT. KOICA also provided training to 125 drivers. The agreement was signed between LDT and KOICA in July 2014.

Minister of state Bista and country director of KOICA Hyung Kyoo Kim spoke on the occasion.
