Home Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet inaugurated multipurpose hall in Nepal Police Training Center Maharajgunj. Constructed under 4.3 million rupees, the building will provide much needed facilities in the training center.

Following the inauguration of program, home minister Basnet also distributed the prizes to the athletes of Nepal Police who secured medals in the South Asian Games held in India.

Welcoming the guest, Inspector General of Police Upedrakanta Aryal said that such infrastructures are necessary to modernize Nepal Police and its training program. IGP Aryal said that the newly completed building help to enhance the quality of training.

Home minister Basnet said that Nepal Police athletes are asset of nation.
