Indian Ambassador Ranjit Rae laid the foundation stone for construction of Chapbhanjyang drinking water supply project for Jyamrung VDC in Dhading. The project is being implemented by the District Development Committee, Dhading with grant assistance of NRs 16.29 million committed by the Govt. of India.

“There exists only one water supply which was insufficient in meeting the requirements of the people and they have to fetch water from sources several kilometres away from the village. Many residents of the Ward were using raw water with LDP pipes at their own cost. The completion of the Chapbhanjyang drinking water supply project would make clean and regular water available to more than 800 people of Jyamrung VDC in Dhading district,” said a press release issued by Indian Embassy.
