Embassy’s attention has been drawn to the reports in online portals Nepalipatra.com and Chakrapath.com about a dinner allegedly hosted by the Ambassador of India on 12 July 2016 in a five-star hotel.

“The Embassy states that the Ambassador of India did not host any dinner anywhere on 12 July 2016. The reports are completely fictitious and false,”said a press release issued by Indian Embassy.

Such reports and the insinuation they carry are clearly designed to cause discord in the cordial relations between India and Nepal.   The Embassy urges all concerned to desist from such irresponsible activities that may harm the fraternal ties between India and Nepal.
