India Provides Assistance to Construction of Campus Building

Bhagwan Aryal, Local Development Officer, Dhading District, Rudra Prasad Danai, Campus Chief, Adarsha Multiple Campus and Gyanveer Singh, Second Secretary in the Embassy of India, signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) for construction of the College building for Adarsha Multiple Campus, Dhading.

According to a press release issued by Indian Embassy, the total financial assistance of the project is NRs 41.2 million provided by Indian government under its Small Development Program Scheme as part of India–Nepal Economic Cooperation Program.

Adarsha Multiple Campus established in 2006 is affiliated to Tribhuvan University and there are 315 students receiving college education at this campus. The students are mainly from underprivileged groups like Chepang, Tamang, Janjati and Dalit community who live in surrounding 18 VDCs.
