The Alliance Française de Katmandou, the ONLY accredited French language school and cultural centre in the country, is moving to a new location at Dhalko Bato (close to Saint-Mary’s School), Pulchowk, Lalitpur, and will open to public on Saturday, 14th January. The change of location reflects the AFK’s desire to modernize and improve their services. This relocation offers many benefits for students and people in general:
According to a press release issued by French Embassy, the new building has a trendy rooftop bar to enjoy French cuisine, drinks and attend cultural events.
The premises are now well located in a desirable area, close to bus and tempo stations, Labim mall and schools in Pulchowk.
The Alliance Française also decided to develop the technology of its services with interactive white boards, multimedia center and gaming lounge.
You will also find the same services than before: French classes, library, restaurant, translation desk... but in a modern environment and a new building very accessible.
A good opportunity to discover the French experience!
Students wishing to get internationally recognized qualifications have to follow us to our new location. French classes will resume as normal. Admission fees are subject to change but these are due to routine annual re-adjustments as opposed to being influenced by location change. The French classes will start from Monday, 16th January 2017 onwards.
