Indian ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae inaugurated a campus building for Chautara Multiple Campus, Chautara in Sindhupalchok district. The building has been constructed with financial assistance of NRs.27 million provided by the Government of India under its Small Development Projects Scheme as part of India–Nepal Economic Cooperation Program.
“The inaugurated triple storied building consists of 12classrooms and separate rooms for the Principal and campus staff, accounts, store, meeting hall, computer room,science laboratories along with separate toilets for boys and girls. In his address to the assembled students and guardians, the Ambassador reiterated the importance of proper infrastructure and its role in providing quality education to the children.The Ambassador urged the students to make maximum use of the newly inaugurated building,” said a press release issued by Indian Embassy.
Indian Government has provided financial assistance of NRs.152 million for 08 ongoing projects in the district. Additionally, the Government of India has, in the past, provided 07 ambulances including one school bus gifted on 26 January, 2017, recognizing the need of the people of the district.
