Indian ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae handed over the development projects constructed with total Indian financial assistance of NRs. 85 million. The project included Satyashwor Higher Secondary School, Pawoti VDC, Kalinag Higher Secondary School, Sunkhani VDC and ten bedded Community Hospital building at Singati Bazar.
Ambassador of India Shri Ranjit Rae reached Pawoti via Charikot, the district headquarter of Dolakha District and inaugurated the newly constructed school building for Satyashwor Higher Secondary School in Pawoti of Dolakha district. The new three storied building comprises 12 classrooms, 3 rooms for library, 2 rooms for laboratory, separate toilets for boys and girls etc. More than 950 students (about 54 per cent of them girls) study in this school. The Ambassador, stressing the importance of the health and education facilities in the development of people, appreciated the steps initiated by the community to improve the education and health infrastructure in their region.
According to a press release issued by Indian Embassy, ambassador Ray also paid a visit to Bhimeshwor Temple. He inaugurated the newly constructed 10-beded community hospital building and staff quarters at Singati bazaar. The Ambassador in his message stressed at the importance of proper maintenance of the new infrastructure and urged the community members to draw maximum benefits from the hospital building.
