Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun attended a reception hosted on the occasion of the 69th National Day of Sri Lanka. At the reception hosted by Sri Lankan Ambassador to Nepal WS Perera, the Speaker of Legislature-Parliament, ministers, chiefs of diplomatic missions in Nepal, leaders of different political parties, former ministers, high-level government officials were also those present.

On the occasion, the Sri Lankan Ambassador expressed happiness over the very cordial bilateral relations existing between Nepal and Sri Lanka. Diplomatic ties between Nepal and Sri Lanka has crossed 60 years this year.
