Nepal government condemns the killing of an innocent Nepai national Govinda Gautam on Thrusday due to fire opened by the Indian Security forces at Nepal India border.

“The Government of Nepal condemns the killing of an innocent Nepali national Mr. Govinda Gautam today due to fire opened by the Indian security forces at Nepal-India border near Anandabazar at Punarbas Municipality, Ward No. 8 of Kanchanpur District,” says a statement issued by Minsitry of Foreign Affairs.

“The Government of Nepal has already taken up this matter with serious concern at higher diplomatic level of the Government of India with a demand to investigate into the incident and bring the guilty to justice,” states press statement.

“The Government of Nepal has also called for taking necessary stops to bring the situation under control so that no further untoward incident takes place in the said border area,” says press statement.
