Embassy of Nepal to Canada and Nepalese honorary counselor General Kyalori, Alberta Province of Canada jointly organized a program to promote tourism, trade and investment and foreign direct investment promotion to Nepal.
Addressing the program ambassador of Nepal to Canda Kali Prasad Pokharel said promulgation of new constitution in 2015 Nepal is moving to achieve economic prosperity. “Nepal has conducive environment for foreign direct invest and tourism,” said ambassador Pokharel. “Nepal’s tourism sector is gradually reviving from the earthquake of 2015. “
During the program, ambassador Pokharel also opened honorary counselor general office in Kyalor city and handed over appointment later of honorary counselor General to the city to Stephen Thomas Hess. Newly appointed honorary counselor General expressed gratitude to government of Nepal for appointing him in this honorary position. Newly appointed counselor General said that he will work to promote investment in Nepal.
Ruling party MP of Alberta province Robyn Luff expressed happiness for opening the office. He is ready to work to promote the traditional relations between the two countries.
