French ambassador to Nepal Yves Carmona (Ambassador of France), Ambassador of Qatar to Nepal Yosuf Bin Mohammed Al-Hall and JP Nair, Country Manager of Qatar Airways jointly launched a direct flight from Kathmandu-Doha and Nice, France at French ambassador’s residence aimed a function.

During the function, French Ambassador to Nepal Carmona said that these new direct flights link one of the high-tech city of the France to the rest of the world. “This new link will also help to boost the tourism,” said French ambassador to Nepal.

JP Nair Country Manager of Qatar Airways said there will be five flights a week now. Qatar "Airways is not only linking Nepal with the rest of the world but also providing service to over 500,000 Nepalese migrant workers living in Qatar,"Nair said.

According to a press release, this new flight arrangement is expected to boost the outbound Nepali tourists and also facilitate Nepali business and leisure travelers to reach the Western Europe faster.

The airline will fly its Boeing B787 aircraft to Nice. At present Qatar Airways is flying 3 times daily to Paris and now we launch 5 flights a week to Nice

Nice will welcome the first Qatar Airways flight from Doha on 4th July 2017, inaugurating the new service that connects Nice to the world.

According to a press release of Qatar Airlines, Nice is a hub for more than 400 leading multi-national companies and the non-stop service will connect both business and leisure travelers to the airline’s extensive network. Nice Known for its pristine beaches and timeless beauty of the French Riviera.

“Our new service to Nice takes off this week. Nice residents will get to experience Qatar Airways’ renowned on-board service and will be able to enjoy the airline’s re-launched superior Oryx One entertainment system offering up to 3,000 entertainment option,” said Nair.
