Acting chairman of China Study Center and former ambassador Sundar Nath Bhattarai left Kathmandu to attend 3rd Trans-Himalayan Development Forum being held in Mangshi, Dehong prefecture of Yunnan Provence of the People's Republic of China. The conference will be held on 9-12th July 2017. The Forum is organized by China Institutes of Contemporary International Relation (CICIR) with Dehong Local Government of Yunnan Providence.
According to a press release issued by China Study Center, the theme of this year's Forum is Industrial Capacity Cooperation and shared Development .It will bring together around 50 high level officials, business leaders and distinguished scholars from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka, Thailand and China as per the organizers. The aim of the conference will be to explore cooperation in industrial capacity and developed a coordinated strategy to boost shared development in the region.
