Dr.Shibesh Chandra Regmi Ipas Nepal is elected as a chairperson of Steering Committee of Association of International NGOs in Nepal (AIN). Douwe Dijkstra  Tearfund and Lora Wuennenberg CARE Nepal are elected  as vice chair and treasurer respectively.

The members of the committee include Tej Hari Ghimire/ Norlha – Helping People in the Himalaya, Mona Sherpa/Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation Nepal, Nirmala Sharma/FAIRMED Foundation, Govinda Neupane/IM Swedish Development Partner, Bhola Prasad Dahal Search for Common Ground , Tripti Rai/Water Aid Nepal, Joel Hafvenstein/United Mission to Nepal  and Sven Coppens/Plan International.

AIN also thanks outgoing Chair Dr Prabin Manandhar, Vice Chair Liz Satow, Treasurer Tej Hari Ghimire and the Steering Committee members David Smith, Meeta Pradhan, Lala Borja for their valuable contributions for AIN. “We heartily welcome the new SC members who are onboard and wishing them for a pleasant and successful tenure with AIN,” said a press release issued by AIN.
