President of Chaudhary Group Binod Kumar Chaudhary urged Chinese ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong to encourage Chinese investors to invest in big projects in Nepal.

President Chaudhary made this remarks at the CG office welcoming Chinese ambassador Yu Hong who paid visit to Chaudhary Group along with high level embassy officials.

President Chaudhary said that there is conducive environment in Nepal for Chinese investors.

“Of course, Chinese investment in Nepal has increased. Yet, there need to encourage Chinese investors to invest in Nepal in the bigger projects of water resources, infrastructures and financial sectors,” said Chaudhary. “Nepal is ready to welcome Chinese investors.”

“The joint investments by the private investors from the both the countries will be more effective. Both the government need to encourage private sectors of their respective countries. Of course, there is a weak environment for investment in Nepal. However, the benefits of the investment are much higher in Nepal,” said Chaudhary. He also thanked Chinese government for supporting Nepal’s economic and social development.

Chinese ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong hailed the positive contribution made by Chaudhary Group. Ambassador also asked the question whether there is any difficulty  doing trade in China saying that she is ready to play the role of facilitator.
