Nepal’s Parliament Members’ Tenure To Expire On October 22

The tenure of members of Legislature Parliament will be expired from October 22. The day when the nomination for the member of House of Representatives is announced as par the elections calendar published by Election Commission.

According to constitutional experts, tenure of all 601 members of Legislature Parliament will expire on same day. “This is the provision of the constitution. There is no question for first or second phase,” said former chair of constituent Assembly.

Secretariat of Legislature Parliament has already issued notice to the member that they will receive salary and other benefits till October 21.
