Nepali Congress leader Dr.Arju Deuba Rana urged voters to vote her because she is a daughter-in-law of the far western region.

I am contesting elections from far-west because this is my hometown,” said Deuba, wife of prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba addressing an election rally. My only objective to contest the election is to make far west economically prosperous and rich.”

She promised voters that she will work for construction of West Seti hydropower, up gradation of Geta Airport, Pancheswor Project and a dry port in Dodhara and upgrading of Gaurifanta border point.
