On the day when the U.S. Embassy issued its travel advisory to its citizen to take restrains to visit  Nepal due to a security threat, French Ambassador to Nepal Yves Carmona appeals to the lovers of Nepal to come to visit and experience Nepal.

French Ambassador to Nepal Yves Carmona noted the good quality of facilities with a recovery of a dynamic tourism almost 3 years after the earthquake.

Ambassador Carmona made this observation after his visit to Solukhumbu recently. According to a press release posted on French Embassy’s website France in Nepal, ambassador Yves Carmona went to Solukhumbu for a trek from March 7-17, 2018.

Ambassador sincerely appreciated the warmth of the Nepalis he met during the course of his trek. He noted the good quality of the facilities with a recovery of a dynamic tourism (almost) 3 years after the earthquake. He also noticed reconstructions at an advanced stage.

The whole visit/trek took place safely and Ambassador wishes to visit similar places in the near future.

“Of course, there are always the trekking related risks and proper safety measures need to be adopted. Ambassador Carmona takes this opportunity to appeal to the lovers of Nepal to come visit and experience Nepal and not hesitate to visit again because “Once is not enough”.
