Marking the special occasion of New Year 2075 BS and as a part of the 3rd Anniversary celebrations, Himalaya Airlines reinforced its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by extending its association with Prayas Nepal once again, by contributing kitchen utilities and a yearlong supply of notebooks for their children, for their new educational year of 2075-76 - as requested by the organization.
According to a press release issued by Himalaya Airlines, the officials of Himalaya Airlines received a special welcome upon their visit to Prayas Nepal premises in Baluwatar, on April 15, 2018 and had a lively interaction with the enthusiastic children and office bearers of the organization. The airline’s valuable contribution is much appreciated by Prayas Nepal and children were elated to receive the goodies including notebooks and chocolates.
During the contribution program, Ujjwala Dali, Head of Department - Brand and Service Improvement remarked, “It is an honor for Himalaya Airlines to get associated with Prayas Nepal once again. We sincerely hope our small contribution supports Prayas Nepal’s efforts to encourage and empower the children, to help them thrive and grow into confident, healthy and strong adults, in the times to come. Prayas Nepal is now under Himalaya Airline’s CSR banner and we will continue our support for Prayas Nepal to work towards the betterment of the future of these underprivileged children.

Prayas Nepal, located at Baluwatar, was established in 2003, with forethought to empower underprivileged children through education, awareness and skillful training. This organization is running a children’s home for orphans, and abandoned, abused and physically challenged children from different parts of the country since its establishment.
