TEMPLE RECONSTRUCTION Lalitpur Takes Lead
Completely devastated by the earthquake in 2015, Patan Durbar Square has reconstructed almost all major temples in four years reviving its past glory. In its effort, Kathmandu Valley Preservation Trust (KVPT) has just completed reconstruction of Char Narayan Temple through major funding from U.S. Embassy. With funds from U.S. Embassy, Germany, Japan and other countries, KVPT, which has been working in close coordination and collaboration with Department of Archeology and backing of local community and local institutions like chamber and Metropolitan City, has shown a way how to effectively and quickly rebuild the heritage sites under a dynamic leadership of country director Rohit Ranjitkar

Time To Sketch Export Management Approach: Aryal
Having worked in several positions of Nepali civil service, Eaknarayan Aryal, Consul General, in the Consulate General of Nepal in Kolkata, is known for his personal capability to perform well. As Kolkata port has been a gateway to Nepal's export and import from the third countries, it remains very important for Nepal's economic development. In his three years of tenure in Kolkata, Aryal has posted some significant progress to improve the transit of export and import of Nepali goods. Aryal spoke to New Spotlight on various issues.
