Situated in the southwestern region of Tibet, Mansarovar Lake is a mere 50 kilometers from the border of Nepal's Humla district to the northwest. Nestled at an elevation of 4,590 meters above sea level, it stands as one of the highest freshwater lakes in Asia, with Tilicho Lake in Nepal being the highest at 4,919 meters.
