Triumphed Over Annapurna And The French Expedition Team

This year 2020 is the 70th anniversary of the successful ascent of Mount Annapurna by the French expedition team led by Maurice Herzog in June 1950

Our 70th anniversary provides us with the opportunity of further developing our shared bonds.

I am meeting many of you for the first time. My name is François - Xavier LEGER and I'm the French Ambassador to Nepal since September 2018.

This year 2019 is a very special year because we are celebrating 70 years of diplomatic relation between Nepal and France.
