Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa met Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi. During the talk, DPM Thapa urges India to help Nepal for safe passage for products.

According to Spokeperson of India’s External Affairs Ministry Vikas Swarup, Indian Minster Swaraj reiterates the need for urgent political solution to political problems facing Nepal.

She assures DPM Thapa that there is no hindrance to supplies from India. But Nepal needs to normalize situation as soon as possible twit Swarup.

According to a source of Thapa, deputy prime minister Thapa urged Indian leaders to lift the restrictions in the border otherwise Nepal will face a major humanitarian crisis.
