CITIZENSHIP: Story Of Stateless
Despite amending the citizenship act and sending the door-to-door citizenship distribution teams several times, a large number of Nepali people, particularly marginalized Dalit and indigenous community of the southern plains, living in eastern Nepal, are yet to secure their citizenship certificates. Although they have been living in the Nepalese territory for generations, they are denied the citizenship certificate, which is mandatory for citizens to get the basic services provided by the state. The result is that these people have been living in miserable conditions outside of state’s formal programs

MAHARAJ KUMARI RAMA MALLA Means Business
Defying traditions, family rules and cultures always comes with a price. Maharajkumari Rama Kumari Malla, a daughter of the late Prime Minister Maharaja Padma Shumshere Jung Bahadur Rana, a liberal prime minister, who quit his position rather than compromising his belief, had to pay a price, too. LWF IN EARTHQUAKE DISASTER Reviving Livelihood
Almost after the three years, most of the regions devastated by the earthquake of 2015 are yet to recover fully.
